Google doesn't trust itself when it comes to spam

I created a
Google Alerts to be sent daily to my
Google mail account.
I received daily emails for a week,
then one day it stopped.
Turns out Gmail filtered the Google alert to the Spam folder.
When it comes to spam, Google doesn't even trust itself.
